Before the Interview

Okay, so let’s say your resume worked and caught some employer’s attention and they called you in for an interview. Here comes the day of the interview, there are some things to remember upon arriving in the office area where the interview will be held. If you have your cell phone or pager with you, remember to turn it off. As you arrive in the lobby of the office, explain the purpose of your visit to the staff or receptionist politely and wait patiently in case the interviewers haven’t arrived yet. Do not wander around and never touch or use the belongings of the company displayed in the waiting area. And of course, do not show some signs of impatience and lack of spirit upon waiting for the interviewer/s.
